Export your Nora data
Request, download and remove a private export.
Sign in fully and recently when Nora asks you to. An export archive holds sensitive financial information.
How to do it
- Open your profile menu, then Settings > Privacy & Data.
- Request a data export and complete any re-authentication prompt.
- Wait for the export to be ready, then download it with the action Nora offers. The email’s “Download your data” button opens Settings > Privacy & Data in Nora; sign in if asked. The email shows the archive’s expiry and does not include the archive or a direct download link.
- Store the archive somewhere safe. Delete the retained export once you are done with it; copies you have already downloaded stay in your hands.
The export covers the account data Nora supports plus your current learning state. Resetting or clearing progress does not rewrite an archive that has already been generated or downloaded.
Having trouble?
- If an export fails, check its status and retry when Nora lets you. Do not send more requests while one is still running.
- A download link expires. While Nora still holds the export, go back to Privacy & Data for a fresh one.
- Deleting an export removes that retained archive. It leaves your Nora account and your financial records alone.
