Move from an overview to the transactions that explain it.

After signing in, open Help in the sidebar to start an interactive guide.

Connect an account and wait for usable data. Some cards fill in before others.

How to do it

  1. Read Financial position for cash, credit debt and net position. Check the currency and the update time.
  2. Use Balance trend to see how your net cash position changed over time. Choose a period and currency, then open Accounts for the full history and the account controls.
  3. Spending and Income are separate cards, each with its own controls, covering posted activity for the period and currency you select. Neither includes pending activity or transfers.
  4. Open a category or merchant in the spending rankings to see the transactions behind it.
  5. Upcoming bills & income lists confirmed activity with merchant logos or initials, category names and icons, dates and amounts. Anything without a category shows as Uncategorized. You can also open a row in Recent transactions.
  6. On the Budget card, pick a currency if you need to, then read your spending, what is left and the categories needing attention. Open a category, or View budget, to land on the same plan and month. If you have no plan yet, choose Create budget. The information icon explains how the numbers are worked out.

Home gives you the overview and links through to the transactions behind it. Date ranges, currencies, pending activity and transfer filters can differ from one view to the next.

Having trouble?
  • An empty card does not necessarily mean the bank connection is missing.
  • If two totals differ, compare their dates, currency and included transactions before you assume something is wrong.
  • Explain writes an interpretation when you ask for one. Check the sources and limits it lists.
