What to explore after setup
Choose what is useful to you; these activities stay optional.
Your first accounts and transactions may arrive before the import is complete. Check the coverage before you draw conclusions.
How to do it
- In Use AI with your finances, choose Nora, ChatGPT or Claude. This is optional and does not change the three-step progress. For ChatGPT or Claude, read the requirements, copy the server URL and follow the full connection guide. Then try the suggested question. Setup guide stays available after the core steps are complete.
- Compare spending in Merchants or Categories. Open an amount to find the transactions behind it.
- In Budgets, enter your usual amounts or review a suggestion. You can create a manual budget with no history at all, though suggestions depend on the previous three imported months.
- In Recurring, read the suggestions and transaction matches before you confirm them. Confirmed expenses feed the upcoming commitments in Budgets.
- Ask Nora a specific question, then open its evidence. Keep the conversation beside the page while you check.
- Create a Board to come back to a useful view. In Settings > Notifications, choose the notices you want, including budget alerts.
- Open Help from the sidebar whenever you need it. The related articles below lead to each feature’s instructions, and walkthroughs start only when you choose them.
None of this adds a required setup step, and none of it resets your progress. Help stays available after the completion message disappears.
Having trouble?
- Incomplete history can lower totals and suggestions. Check Connections, the period and the currency.
- Budgets and estimates do not move money, and they cannot promise that an amount is safe to spend. Nora can be wrong, so check its sources.
